Yes, completely. There is no real money anywhere: you play with free volumes and gems, the game's virtual currency, which you earn by playing.
A free volume comes back every 10 minutes, up to your stock limit (shown at the top of the screen). You also get bonus volumes from the daily login reward, missions, achievements and referral. With no volume left, you can open one for 150 gems.

Discord is only used to create your account safely: we never see your password and never post anything for you. We only get your username and avatar.
The Standard volume holds every card in the game. The others (Shōnen, Seinen, Shōjo, Josei, Isekai, Mecha, Ecchi) only hold the characters of that kind. The banner of the week puts one series forward: its characters come out more often.
Per card: Common 62%, Uncommon 25%, Rare 11.4%, Epic 1.4%, Legendary 0.15%, Mythic 0.05%. Every volume holds 5 cards, at least one of them Rare or better. Every rate is on the Rarities page.
Yes: if you have not pulled a Mythic in 250 volumes, the next one is guaranteed. The counter is shown under the open button.
One volume in 10 is a gold edition: it holds at least one Epic. A god pack is a very rare volume (1 in 5,000) with 5 Mythics at once.
It is the print number of that copy: N°1 is the very first copy of the card ever pulled. N°1 shows in gold, N°2 to 10 in silver and N°11 to 100 in bronze. The lower the number, the more the copy is worth.
Recycle them for gems (from 1 gem for a Common to 150 for a Mythic), sell them on the market or trade them with other players.
On your profile, tap “Edit profile” and pick up to 8 cards. Until you do, your best cards are shown.
List a copy at the price you want (above its recycling value). When a player buys it, you get the gems minus a 5% fee.
An auction lasts 12 to 72 hours and each bid must beat the last one by at least 5%. You give your maximum and the server bids for you, just as much as needed. A bid in the last minute adds 2 minutes.
Offer cards for another player's cards: the trade must be balanced, within 15%, according to the value of the cards (worked out from recent market sales).
Share your link from the Referral page. Once your friend has opened their first 10 volumes, you both get 3 bonus volumes. After 10 validated referrals, you win a Mythic Volume (a Mythic guaranteed).
On iPhone: open oshicards.com in Safari, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”. On Android: Chrome's menu, then “Install app”. You can then turn on notifications.
In the settings of your profile. Your account is frozen at once and deleted for good after 7 days: sign in again before then if you change your mind.
